To Live, To Love

A warmth, a flowing, ever-knowing, ever-giving

All will respond for it never remains the same

Life is about you, and for you life has meaning

I'm captivated, helpless to you, because I came from Love

A love only expressed, lived as the breath taken

To be immersed as the waters in which earth swims

Flowing, ever-renewing, a presence, sustaining life

It is just to be, my life, mission, purpose, essence 

I live to love, as I awake out of sleep to be greeted

When I lay my head, wrap myself inside this spread upon my bed

I am resolved to live as an effervescent fountain, that nourishes 

A warm body reminds me of its presence as life 

To live is to love, despite the certainty of pain, joy is present

Air that flows, that I breathe, as a river of unending flow

Love as life is present, all will know it exists to be touched by it

I came from it, to live it, to be immersed in it, to love
