Love Broke Through
Jesus wept
His love was swept away
No longer to stay, in the hearts of men that day
Far away when he cried, let this cup pass, please let it be
Later he hung on a tree for you and me
Meandering time stopped, storms noticed, burst
Thunder gave voice to the deep darkness
It is finished!
Love laid him beneath the earth
Love gave life, new birth.
Celebration and resurrection for many, victory, we can live free.
