Winter

Here you come my way again
I peeped through my window
Powder is everywhere as the rain
White smiles greets me as a show

Tempted I am to come into you
Cold abounds, winds they blow
Here you are inside my view
Stepped outside, now I know

The face of nature, whitened by you
My breath I see as no other time
Darkness of night, steps aside to
Shivers sets in, to ache is fine

Not everywhere will feel your grip
Some dare to wonder about you
With ice all around one can slip
Another suffers from winter blues

A planet needs your presence here
A break from all the heat
Creature here, not everywhere
Your season, they eagerly greet

So when winter comes and goes
Such cold and frigid wind I'll missed
I'll pack away these special clothes
Then kiss goodbye, what I can't resist
