Visitor

Another place in time before I knew who was mine

Before I could call a number or even in my cultured awareness begin to wonder

An existence that always was, with no begining

Before form or matter was realized, yea any life form

Dare to nod in approval only to agree by their mere existence that all is good

Creation made, visited by another whose presence creates the norm

Such visitation always results in manifestations

For as difficult for all manifests to comprehend

Feel the influence of a presence that makes all manifest, respond with joy as to apprehend

A presence that makes all else a reality

So before chaos becomes cosmos, conscious

Darkness kissed light, expressing no hostility

Voices beyond the veil of worlds yet unknown

Call out to all; take notice for what will be shown

Life unborrowed, underived, everliving, with no beginning

Who by just a thought, not even a word manifests all

All bow in adoration, in eager expectation

In whose presence, light illuminates the darkness

A brightness exceeds all luminaries, for a presence, was light

Covering it in a body of flesh, to dwell as one not so bright

Winds and the waves took notice, hushed in quiteness

Demons trembled cried out again and again

Diseases fled at the mention of a name

Tombs gave up their commodity

Furnace cooled, all creatures lived quite happily

Truly a mystery for worlds to see, yet never to comprehend what will always be

On a hill far away a tree is planted, on which one is placed

Head bowed, eyes focused, looking on a lump of clay formed one day

Could've thought this being into manifestation

As other creation; yet for your image, given him in love

A crown of thorn placed, instead of a diadem

A crimson flows, sweat poured, holes as a strainer

Straining the dregs of our impurities of a human race

Nature weeps along with all created known only by you

Your eyes see through me, in love you knew me while still in your thought

When I innocently stumbled, trying to walk

When danger was near, I touched without fear

When like all so innocent I couldn't talk

Your eyes sweep through time, through man's fall as do mine

See our futile desperation runing from whom we came afterall

Sacrifices from the fall, through time, pointed to you after all

Rejected by one that strayed, yet came looking, seeking if but for one

Hung your head, lay your life down in sleep; take it up again

Out of the tomb, glad refrain, You will come again

And in my room as I gently sleep, in your arms my soul You keep

In You all live, move, have their being

All hearts beat only as You allowed them to

In my heart I know it's true, no one will live and love quite like You

There is no fleeing from such a presence

If I make my bed in hell or the grave there's no absence

If such a one while everywhere on our portal would appear

Would stoop so low as to come your way, even today

Would you say not today, even look another way, perhaps run away

A fools hardy I dare to say

A love like this, couched in flesh to visit here

A redeemed multide will sing over there

Are you truly such if you are every where, before any where

I can't look for you, neither expect you here nor there

An omnipresent I fear, now I'm totally aware

A Love like this, like no other, shows how You care

I'm yours forever, in my heart

You're no visitor
