Dearest Mother

Dearest Mother

The vessels that bore us

The wombs from which we came

Your body that sustained us

Over and over again

When helplessly defenseless

Innocent and pure

Uncondtional love, dearest mom

Who could ask for more

We saw how much you loved us

Like no other in this world

How you held us, embraced us

Loved us with a love untold

When we stumbled and fell

You were never far away

In your hands, we can always tell

We can feel it when you pray

Our journeys in life, near or far

In our hearts you are always there

One constant wherevever we are

Feel your presence, know that you care

Without you where would we be

Dearest mother, we honor you

First moment at life, first face we see

First steps we make, all to please you

Cherish them like no other

Remember them like none other

Cherish them while life shall last

Remember them for our past

The years of lives will end as all

The wombs from which we came

One day we'll answer the call

We'll return to it again

At the sound of our name

We will look for each other
