The Sun Still Shines

The Sun Still Shines

On overcast days, heavy clouds abound

The sunlight we love is sure not around

It's not true that it cannot be found

It's there listening for a certain sound

When on such days, cloud part their ways

Show us that nothing in life ever stays

It's all for a brief moment, if but for days

When above all clouds are sunshine rays

Nature looks up with tears in her eyes

Clouds are skirting by, up there in the skies

Thunder then startled in the rain she cries

No sooner it all ends, how time truly flies

So, when days are cloudy, look awfully grey

When we would wish for another day

As hardships keep coming even when we pray

The sun will shine through, it's never far away
