The Great Mystery

The Great Mystery

Out of one came all, but not before another

In one, all was present, waiting to come forth

All was good, yet not all good in this pretender

A heart not knowing, joy awaiting to break forth

Sleep is always good, when to be awaken

Another lying in glorious form at my side

It's for me to touch, even be taken

Eyes alluringly looked at me, said, "I'm your bride"

Reaching out, gently touch this part of me

Joyfully expressing myself, came naturally

A first touch, so silky soft, it's all I'll ever be

Love for you came excitedly, freely

I'll cherish these precious moments

When lovers first embraced, kissed, knew

In our innocence, onlooking worlds, I presented

A love like this, lived by few, when all was new

Would that men everywhere when awakened

Love who's by their side to honor and protect

Our lives truly start living, when others forsaken

A love so special, be foolish to neglect
