That thoughts were spoken 

Into emptiness and nothingness

They showed themselves in fullness

Bore evidence of the power of the word 

All others begged to be revealed 

In all their brilliance eager to be 

There is no other power, nor will be

The life inherent in such majesty

Onlookers from afar would hear

They too created from such thoughts

See the power and manifestations 

In adoration, all praise brought forth

The light and the darkness are one

You are covered in them as garments

In your sovereign presence life is

You are all beginnings and endings

The mystery of your awesomeness

Dimly acknowledge by all, a presence 

Like no other, before any, a uniqueness 

It shines, it's evident in everything made

We were in your thoughts; here we are

The fragrance of you, beyond all scents

Awakens us even when in dust we rest 

To awake at the wafting of your aroma

The beauty of our lives, and all that live

Even inanimate, matter that conforms

Is your sustaining presence everywhere

We go our way, but you'll always be near
