Sleep Is Good

I need you every day

When I'm here or far away

Eyes are closed with you

All else escaped from view

When you rock me in your arms 

I dare not care for pain of harms

I gently rest my all in you

Escape from others not so few

Is it death to me everytime

I lay me down to make you mine

All trust in you as long ago

A place in life, we do not know

Rain will come for all to grow

Without you here I'll never know

As good a thing for all that's here

Daily I see your path I share

I was asleep before I came

The moment will come to me again 

To trust in you, as all will do

My hope for pain I never knew

My eyes will close a moment soon

Hope as light beyond the tomb
