When called into you, to be immersed, gently caressed, apprehended
Your hands moved me as I came into view, saw all was new
No longer hidden in secret, now known, looked on by a world, I'll soon call my own
Still needing to know why I came, my purpose
I questioned you in my awakening, "why me?" only to hear, "why not?"
I knew you the moment you first, sounded, touched me, as I felt you
Before I heard chimes of bells, clocks, crowing roosters at dawn
In the light of day, I reflected as it scattered of my skin, the dark of night that set me in
I'm reminded in every moment, of my being
I can't see you as the wind, or the air I breathed
Your effects are plainly shown in this body of my being
It desperately fails me, in my members, I plainly, painfully see
You certainly remind me of the brevity of my stay with you, by saying
"You will never have another day to live as this
To open your eyes, enter into, remember those past
To make an impact as only you can, as you return
Today, the world will remember you for your comings and goings
Time will smile in appreciation of your unique presence
It will be happy that you came its way and graced its presence".
