If The World Were Mine

If The World Were Mine

Look for beauty that's everywhere

Though faint from what it was

Still visible in droplets on leaves

In fog and mist that fill the air

Cherish this space in which I find

So much joy in the touch of the flower

Colors of varying hues do make much ado

On every hill that begs me just to climb

In sounds I hear that resound everywhere

All created make themselves known

Every moment with joys still unknown

All that's given for enough to share

Its varied forms so impressed me to see

Open their arms, embraced just freely

Asked for nothing just be cared for

In waters and land so heavenly

The air I breathed still all I greet

A total package mines complete

Why desecrate this, the only one I got

A world cries out, forget me not
