Here I am in you, waiting, silently listening
In my residence I'm awashed by you; in You
A word from you, will certainly do
My reason to exist, be contained, to live
To feel your touch, hear your voice
So still, I am to your presence; my choice
I live it, my bread, milk, but by thy every word
Unique I am in every way, live for you day by day
Am I listening for you or truly for Him
Whose finger touched me, I'm conceived
Waters when touched, parted for joy
Rock felt it, melted, gave way to tables
Dry bones cames alive, furnace cooled
Lions, tamed, walls came down; at a touch
A world touched, it unfolds revealing a Pearl
An irritation produces a priceless Pearl
In our flesh you tabernacle, to live, walk, talk
To touch our flesh where diseases fled
Touch our pool, where we go wash
A spittle in the sand by your hand, now we see
We walked with you, rubbed on you, felt your virtue through and through
Our bodies straightened at the sight of you
A word lived in flesh, not written, nor oral
Spoke at a well, one would show and tell
Come see a man, who knew all too well
Nature noticed, folded in abeisance, rain of tears from her eyes, fell
All listened as you sweat blood, pray in wilderness for a world gone astray
Word springs life, death heard, gave up
Demons put to flight, others worlds smile in delight
In authority a word is spoken like none other
I lay in my bed, in my room, in my tomb
As Lazarus, like others gone before
Known by me, unknown I'll see, as those I adore
I'll wait to hear a word from you
A still small voice, heard in my cave, waiting to crack the grave
Sheep knowing a voice will come out, with a shout
In my room, my room, I'm awashed in you
I await silently listening for the word to be said,
'It is Finished'
I need it to live as the air I breathed
If I don't hear a word from you; what will I do
