On Our Anniversary

On this day I look back to a time

When to love you was to live for you

We lived in love and knew if given a chance

We could love each other like no other

A love like this kept us together

While all else failed to keep us apart 

With time I've come to value this love

A love so precious, so rare, so few could share

A love that withstood the test of time

Such love will always have me say, you're mine

Jealous for you all other love will be 

Cause your love is special to me

The skies take note to open up

The earth takes it breath, enough to stop 

To admire this love that is true to so few

That all else should know I love you so

Our love this day will endure the test of time

I'm truly blessed beyond words to call you mine

Every beat of my heart just like from the start

Tells me I'm yours, to love you is my work of art

For as time such canvass though bare

This day the love we share for all to see

I loving you and you loving me

This picture of love, while no masterpiece 

Beckons all to look, see the beauty that's you 

If asked again would I take the vow

To love to you, only you

I'd gladly say again and again, "I Do"
