At Dawn

Your creeping presence I felt everywhere 

Familiarity, brings joy with a breath of fresh air

As night slowly steals away, I'll say goodbye

A day now eagerly awaits for me to give it a try

Prepared for such uniqueness, on a day as this 

It stands here before me, that I dare not resist 

To share all the love I can bring to this day 

With you now behind me, I'll just give it away

It was a time like all, when once I came

For love to be shared again, just the same

When in an innocence, pure as the morning air

I held on to what, was ever near, and dear

Sadly many lives, never saw the light of you

Will never know beauty, that travels into view

In your coming, brings hopes of a new day 

A world waits anxiously for what I'll do today

When a moisture filled air, touches everywhere

I awoke to grace a day needing exquisite care

In freshness of purpose I'll live out this one
